40G QSFP+ LR4 PSM Transceiver Module (1310nm SMF 10km MTP/MPO DDM)
The 40G QSFP+ LR4 is a transceiver module designed for 10km optical communication applications. It complies with the 40GBASE-LR4 standard of IEEE P802.3ba. The module converts 4 input channels (ch) of 10Gb/s electrical data into 4 optical signals, which are then multiplexed into a single channel for 40Gb/s optical transmission. The central wavelengths of the 4 channels are 1310 nm, as defined by the ITU-T G694.2 wavelength grid.
