QSFP+ Active Optical Cables are direct-attach fiber optic assemblies with QSFP+ connectors that run over multimode fiber (MMF). This AOC complies with the SFF-8436 MSA standard. It over provides a cost-effective solution for 56Gbps connections within a rack and between adjacent racks compared to using discrete optical transceivers and fiber patch cords.
