This product is an eight-channel, parallel, embedded optical OSFP designed for 800 Gigabit Ethernet applications. It is a high-performance transceiver module for short-range communication and interconnect applications. It integrates eight data channels in each direction at a rate of 8x53.125GBd. The OSFP SR8 reaches up to 60 meters on OM3 MMF or 100 meters on OM4 MMF. This module is designed to work with multimode fiber, using a nominal wavelength of 850nm.
